Small Steps, Big achievements.
At ThinkWell, we believe every child learns and grows in their own amazing way. Our mission is to create fun, supportive spaces where kids can be themselves, build confidence, and develop everyday skills that matter most. We work closely with families to make steady progress—because every small step leads to big achievements.
Meet Sam
Hi, I’m Sam, a Paediatric Occupational Therapist passionate about supporting children and families to thrive in their everyday lives.
Over the years, I’ve supported children across home, school, and community settings. I believe therapy is a journey made up of many small steps, and I feel privileged to walk alongside families as those little moments grow into big achievements, because it’s often the small, consistent efforts that make the biggest difference.
I take a neuroaffirming, family-centred approach, focusing on each child’s unique strengths and experiences. I work closely with parents and caregivers through parent coaching, sharing practical strategies and guidance so families feel confident supporting their child beyond our sessions.
At the heart of my practice is a commitment to quality over quantity: I prioritise thoughtful, individualised care over seeing as many clients as possible, ensuring that every child and family receives the attention and support they deserve. I am also dedicated to transparency, providing clear, honest communication about therapy goals, progress, and processes, so families always know what to expect.
Outside of work, I enjoy hanging out with my many pets, reading, and trying out new cafes, which helps me bring balance, creativity, and energy to my practice.
ThinkWell: Small Steps, Big Achievements. I’m here to help children grow, families feel supported, and every small step turn into meaningful progress.

Our Values
Quality over quantity
Every child and family deserves the time, attention, and care needed to feel truly supported.
Providing therapy that is thoughtful, individualised, and responsive to each family’s needs.
I take the time to listen, build trust, and create meaningful goals that fit into everyday life.
By prioritising quality over quantity, I can give families the best of my skills and energy, ensuring they feel supported not just during sessions, but in the bigger journey of their child’s development.
Family collaboration
Therapy works best when families feel empowered and included every step of the way.
I focus on building strong partnerships with parents and caregivers. Together, we set meaningful goals, share strategies, and celebrate progress.
I place an emphasis on parent coaching, providing practical tools, guidance, and support so families feel confident helping their child in everyday routines.
This approach ensures therapy doesn’t just happen during sessions, but continues to make a difference at home, at school, and in the community.
Neuroaffirming approach
I respect and celebrate the unique ways each child thinks, learns, and experiences the world.
A neuroaffirming approach means I focus on strengths, not deficits, and support children in ways that honour their individuality.
Instead of trying to “fix” behaviours, I work alongside families to understand what a child’s actions communicate and how we can create supportive environments.
My goal is to help children feel safe, capable, and valued for who they are, while giving families practical strategies to nurture their child’s growth and wellbeing.
Transparency
Families deserve honesty and clarity at every stage of the therapy process.
I am open about what I can offer and what I can’t, how sessions work, and what outcomes to expect.
This means no confusing jargon and clear communication about progress and challenges.
By being transparent, I ensure families feel informed, respected, and confident in the decisions we make together.
